Das erste Abkommen\, welches mit einem sog. „sicheren Dr ittstaat“ verabschiedet wurde\, um die Deportation von people on the mov e für Behörden und Frontex zu erleichtern. Seit dem ist viel passiert un d an Europas Grenzen kamen in den letzten 10 Jahren über 32.000 Menschen auf ihrer Flucht ums Leben. Die politische Agenda europäischer Regierunge n ist klar und wird seit dem auch mit weiteren Deals manifestiert: Abschot tung.\nDoch auch wenn die unmenschliche Politik rechts-konservativer Parte ien durch die GEAS-Reform manifestiert wird\, so sollte die Hoffnung auf e ine andere Realität niemals begraben werben. Es lohnt sich die kleinen Er folge einer antirassistischen\, transnationalen Bewegung\, die sich für B ewegungsfreiheit und Menschenrechte einsetzt anzuschauen. Denn auch wenn d er um sich greifende Autoritarismus Mensch von Zeit zu Zeit verzweifeln l ässt\, so sind die kleinen Siege dieser Bewegung nicht irrelevant. Im Geg enteil. Das Wissen über die verschiedensten Formen der praktischen Solida rität an den Orten und Grenzen Europas kann die Grundlage für neue emanz ipatorische Strukturen und Bewegungen sein.\n\nIn dem Vortrag geht es um d ie Auswirkungen des EU-Türkei-Deals und wie er eine Grundlage für die un menschliche Politik der Festung Europa heute ist. It is worth looking at the modest successes of an anti-racist\, transnational movement that fights for freedom of movemen t and human rights. Even if the increasing authoritarianism causes people to lose hope from time to time\, the small successes of this movement are not irrelevant. On the contrary\, knowledge about the various forms of pra ctical solidarity in different places and at different borders in Europe c an be the basis for new emancipatory structures and movements.\n\nThe lect ure will focus on the impact of the EU-Turkey deal and how it forms the ba sis for the inhumane policies of Fortress Europe today. However\, the main focus will be on the diverse forms of practical solidarity that demonstra te the potential for action by groups and movements.\n\nSolidarity wins!
